Job Summary:
The Franchise Development Manager will be responsible for driving franchise growth in alignment with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of experience in franchise sales, preferably within the food/FMCG industry. They will have a deep understanding of the industry and possess strong relationship-building skills to nurture and expand our franchise network.
Key Responsibilities:
Franchise Sales:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive franchise sales strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Identify potential franchisees and conduct market research to assess their suitability.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective franchisees.
- Conduct presentations and negotiations with potential franchise partners.
- Ensure the successful conversion of leads into franchise agreements.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective franchise partners.
- Provide ongoing support to franchisees and address their needs and concerns.
- Act as a liaison between franchisees and various departments within the organization.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support franchisees with local marketing efforts.
Market Research:
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct market analysis to determine potential locations for new franchises.
- Assess local and regional market conditions and make recommendations for franchise expansion.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of all franchise-related activities, agreements, and contracts.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance and pipeline progress.
- Prepare and update necessary documentation, including franchise agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in franchise sales, with a preference for experience in the food industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with prospective franchisees.
- Familiarity with franchise laws and regulations is a plus.
